Step 1 of creating an event on Blocktickets Creator Panel

Step 1:
To get started, click on + Create an event button in the top menu.



Step 2:
Select a venue for your event from the drop-down menu and enter the name of your event.

Notes:

  • You cannot change or edit venue and event name once the event is live.

  • There is a 100-character limit and no emojis permitted in this field.

Step 3:
Select your event date and time.



Notes:

  • The default end date is 4 hours after the event start time.

  • The event date will be displayed as: TBA and is updated to the accurate event date after it’s selected.

  • The "Display Start Time" checkbox is by default selected, if you don’t want to display the start time of your event click the check box.

  • You cannot edit your event date and time once the event is live.

Step 4:

  1. Select the doors time by clicking the pencil icon.

  2. Choose either minutes or hours from the drop down menu, and enter the number of hours or minutes.

  3. Click Apply to save changes or Cancel to discard changes.

Notes:

  • Doors Time by default will be 2 hours before event start time.

Step 5:

  1. Select your Event Visibility by clicking the pencil icon.

  2. Use the calendar and time pop up to select your event visibility.

  3. Click Apply to save changes or Cancel to discard changes.

Notes:

  • Event Visibility by default is as soon as published.

  • Once your event is visible it will be shown on Blocktickets channels ie. purchase tickets page.

  • You cannot edit your event visibility once the event is live.

Step 6:

  1. Select your General On-sale by clicking the pencil icon.

  2. Use the calendar and time pop up to select your General On-sale.

  3. Click Apply to save changes or Cancel to discard changes.

Notes:

  • No General On-sale is set by default.

  • The General On-sale cannot be set before the event is visible.

  • The General On-sale start date is to be announced checkbox is by default not selected, if you don’t want to display the start time of the General On-sale click the check box.

  • The General On-sale ends 4 hour(s) after the event start time, you can create a custom on-sale period when creating an offer.

  • You cannot edit the General On-sale once the event is live.

Step 7:

  1. Click Save and Continue to proceed to the event settings page or click Cancel to erase this event build and return to the events page.

Notes:

  • Once you click save and continue this event will become a draft that can be edited at any time.
