Configuring scaling while creating your event

Step 1:

Add your pricing levels, click on the + Add price levels button to start scaling your standard admission offer.


Notes:

  • You can only add up to 9 pricing levels.

  • When you select the go back arrow it will direct to the offers page.

Step 2:

  1. Add your Base price for each pricing level.

  2. Click Apply to save changes or Cancel to discard changes.

Notes:

  • Price levels fall under the category of open in your inventory.

  • You can edit the name of the pricing level up to 10 characters long by clicking pricing level name.

  • You can customize the colour of your pricing level identifier by clicking on the coloured circled.

Step 3:
Select the seats you want to assign to a pricing level.

Notes:

  • When you select a seat it will appear as highlighted in black.

Step 4:

→ A)
Drag the selected seats to a pricing level.

Notes:
Unassigned seats quantity will be reduced as seats are assigned to pricing levels.

→ B)
Review your financial information.


Notes:

  • After the seats are assigned to a pricing level it automatically calculates the financial information to show you potential revenue, sellable capacity, and avg. price per seat.

  • Base price will be multiplied by the sellable capacity of each pricing level to give you the potential revenue.

  • Sellable capacity include seats that are assigned to a pricing level.

  • Kills and Holds are excluded from sellable capacity.

Click on unassigned to Select all seats that haven’t been assigned to a pricing level in one action.

→ D)
If all seats are not assigned you cannot move on to assigning inventory.

→ E)

  1. Click on Edit value to change the base value on a pricing level.

  2. After you change the value of the pricing level it will display the impact (increased revenue) and what your new potential revenue is for all pricing levels.

  3. Click Apply to save changes or Cancel to discard changes.

Notes:

  • + / green indicates the price has increased from the original base value.

  • - / red indicates the price has decreased from the original base value.

  • Base value by default displayed in pop up is the current base value.

  • Standard admission price reflects the base value.

  • All offers will be impacted if base value is adjusted.

  • You can change the base value on a pricing level during the life cycle of the event.

  1. Move seats from one pricing level to another by selecting the seats on the map and dragging them to a new pricing level.

  2. A pop up will appear that displays how many seats you are moving from and to the new pricing level.

  3. The pop up will display the impact (increased revenue) and the new potential revenue for all pricing levels after you move the tickets.

  4. Click Apply to save changes or Cancel to discard changes.

Notes:

  • + / green indicates the price has increased from the original base value.

  • - / red indicates the price has decreased from the original base value.

  • You can move seats from one pricing level to another during the life cycle of the event.

Step 5:
Set your hot spot, this will determine the sell order of your tickets.

Notes:

  • Drag the blue circle to the location on the seat map to determine your sell order.

  • Red is sell first and blue is sell last.

  • The red seats will be the first visible seats on the purchase tickets page.

Step 6:
Click on Inventory to proceed to set up your event.
